Rainham Kenilworth’s development training is run in association with Brazilian Soccer Schools Medway. Sessions will focus on developing players touch, control and confidence with the ball, using Brazilian Soccer Schools unique training methods. As the first club in Medway to establish an official link with Brazilian Soccer Schools Medway, we hope to offer all abilities the opportunity to learn, develop and have fun in a professional and safe environment. All development sessions are run with the aim of entering a team into the Medway Messenger Youth League or the Maidstone Invicta Primary League. When attending please ensure your child has suitable clothing and footwear for sporting activities, a shower proof jacket, shin pads and plenty of water to drink. Additional Football Training
FOR CHILDREN AGED 5 TO UNDER 12 YEARS OLD
Every session we run is with the aim of improving your child's footballing skills through a variety of technical work ball mastery and game play.
We do this using many different teaching aids such as the ICFDS Skills Badge scheme to reward practice and self-improvement or the game of Futebol de Salao
Futebol de Salao is the original version of Futsal THe FA's own research recognised that when compared to the current mini soccer format used in England. Futebol offered the following benefits
Allow players to perform more individual techniques. Feature more successful passes, controls, fakes and feints dribbles and runs with the ball attempts at goal leading to more goals being scored, goalkeepers with greater opportunities to make saves, more tackles to be attempted and more successful set-plays due to role modifications. FDS is usually played indoors on a basket ball sized court the small size 2 ball with reduced bounce, encourages a more skilful and imaginative style of play. Th games is also more physically demanding as the ball stays in play and requires everyone to be involved in both attacking and defending.
